The AUTOTERM Baltica Complete Heating System is an all-in-one heating and hot water solution designed to provide domestic hot water, coolant heating and interior heating in one integrated system. Combining the AUTOTERM Baltica System, Baltica Control and the special Baltica Flow 5 heater, this complete package delivers flexible, efficient heating for caravans, motorhomes, boats, vehicles and specialised installations.

Complete All-in-One Heating Solution

The AUTOTERM Baltica Complete System combines the Baltica expansion tank, special Baltica Flow 5 heater and Baltica Control into one complete heating solution. It is designed to provide hot water, hydronic heating and interior air heating while giving you intelligent control over the entire system.

13L Expansion Tank with Integrated Heat Exchanger

At the heart of the system is a 13L expansion tank with an integrated heat exchanger. Domestic hot water can be available within approximately 6-10 minutes after activation, providing a convenient hot water solution for showers, washing and everyday use. A water flow regulator is required, with a recommended flow rate of 3.5L/min.

Special Baltica Flow 5 Heater Included

Unlike the standard Baltica System, this complete bundle includes the special AUTOTERM Baltica Flow 5 heater required to operate the system. The Baltica Flow 5 provides the primary combustion heating source for the system, working together with the expansion tank and control panel to deliver reliable coolant and interior heating.

Intelligent Baltica Control

The included AUTOTERM Baltica Control panel provides automatic management of the heating system. It continuously monitors temperature demand and can control the coolant pump, heating fans and compatible third-party heating devices.

The system can automatically stop heating fans once the target temperature has been reached, helping maintain a comfortable interior temperature while improving efficiency.

Secondary Compartment Heating

Baltica Control also supports secondary compartment heating through compatible heating equipment. Heat-on-demand relay functionality allows the system to automatically activate connected fans or third-party heating devices when additional heating is required.

1600W Electric GRID Heating

Two integrated 800W electric heating elements provide a combined 1600W of electric heating power when connected to shore power or an external grid supply. Each element features a preset 90°C thermostat with a safety cutoff between 91-95°C.

GRID mode allows the system to maintain coolant temperature using electric heating without running the Flow 5 heater. Stored heat can then be used for domestic hot water and space heating.

When GRID mode is active, the Flow 5 heating settings are automatically locked. The Flow 5 heater can be enabled again once GRID mode has been switched off.

Flexible Interior Heating

The Baltica system can be connected to compatible radiators or fan coil units to provide hydronic interior heating. This makes it suitable for a wide range of vehicle and marine installations, from caravans and motorhomes to boats and specialised applications.

Recommended Coolant

AUTOTERM Aluminium EKO Coolant is recommended for use with the Baltica System. This specialised propylene glycol coolant is designed for safe and reliable operation. An alternative non-corrosive propylene glycol coolant may be used if it meets the same specifications.

Do not use water as coolant. For non-domestic applications, G13 antifreeze may be used.

Installation Requirements

The Baltica expansion tank must be installed vertically and securely mounted using the original mounting brackets. A minimum clearance of 5cm must be maintained around the system, with adequate ventilation provided.

Coolant piping between the Flow 5 heater and tank must not exceed 3 metres. Where the heater is installed separately, it must be positioned within ±50cm of the tank centreline. An overflow pipe must also be connected to prevent coolant or steam discharge into the vehicle or living compartment.
