The integrated battery temperature sensor enhances charging safety by adjusting current output to prevent overheating or overcharging, particularly in demanding environments.

Real-time system monitoring is made simple via the LCD display and LED indicators, which show charging status, battery condition, load output, and fault alerts. For added convenience, the controller can also be paired with a Bluetooth module or remote LCD display, allowing full system monitoring through the KA Solar App.

Designed with safety in mind, the controller includes multiple protective features such as reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, overload protection, and thermal safeguards for both the unit and connected batteries.

Please note: this is an MPPT solar charge controller and not a full battery management system. The load output is dependent on solar input and is intended for small accessories only. It is recommended that appliances requiring stable, continuous power (such as fridges or freezers) are connected directly to a properly fused battery system rather than the controller’s load output.

For ease of installation, the unit includes x2 Anderson to bootlace ferrule connectors, ensuring a secure and reliable connection to your system.
